One person dead in fatal crash in Central Frontenac

The collision occurred Monday afternoon on Highway 7 near Arden Rd.

Frontenac OPP are investigating a fatal crash in Central Frontenac.

Emergency crews were called to an area of Highway 7 and Arden Rd Monday afternoon.

Investigators say they arrived to find two vehicles involved in the collision.

They say the driver of one vehicle died at the scene, identified as a 29-year-old woman from Innisfil.

Investigators say the driver and passenger in the other vehicle suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital.

They are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage to contact Frontenac OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
