A prospective League1 Ontario club has requested to use Caraco Field at the INVISTA Centre.

Kingston is in the running for a new semi-pro soccer team.

A prospective League1 Ontario club has requested to use Caraco Field at the INVISTA Centre as its home turf starting in 2026.

League1 Ontario sits a level below the Canadian Premier League with most teams based out of the Greater Toronto Area.

City staff say the deal would be temporary and hinge on Kingston being selected as a franchise.

League1 is expected to announce their expansion decision next month.
