Latham Pool Products will pay $75K over 10 years for the naming rights.
Loyalist Township has announced a naming rights agreement with Latham Pool Products for the lap pool at the revitalized W.J. Henderson Community Centre.
Under the deal, the new 8-lane, 25-metre pool will be called the Latham Lap Pool. The agreement includes a $75,000 contribution from Latham over 10 years, running from 2026 to 2035.
The funding supports the township’s W.J. Revitalization Campaign, aimed at upgrading the long-standing recreation facility.
Latham opened a large fiberglass pool manufacturing plant in the township in 2023, creating more than 100 local jobs and strengthening its ties to the community.
The updated community centre will feature modern, inclusive, and sustainable design elements. The Latham Lap Pool is expected to open in the third quarter of 2026 as part of the Barr Homes Aquatic Centre, which will also include a warm-water leisure pool for residents of all ages.
