Come together and learn new ideas for local climate action
The City of Kingston and ICLEI Canada are teaming up to host the Kingston Climate Summit on June 4 and 5 at Queen’s University.
The two-day event will bring together local leaders, businesses, and community members to work on real climate solutions.
The summit will open with keynote speaker Brent Toderian, a world-renowned city planning expert known for his work on sustainable urban design.
Participants will explore regional climate topics, attend engaging sessions, and take part in study tours across the community. The goal is to spark new ideas and partnerships for local climate action.
Julie Salter-Keane from the City of Kingston says the summit is a key step toward climate resilience.
Supported by the Echo Foundation, Trottier Family Foundation and Utilities Kingston, the event is free to attend, but registration is required.
