The annual Limestone City Car Classic has once again demonstrated the power of community, raising an impressive $20,000 for the Kingston Health Sciences Centre Melanoma Clinic in honour of Melonie Beattie. The funds were presented to the UHKF last weekend, marking a major milestone for the charity event.
Organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers, donors, and supporters whose dedication and hard work made the event a success. Their efforts not only ensured a memorable and engaging car classic but also directly contributed to funding melanoma research and patient care at Kingston General Hospital.
“This event shows what can be achieved when a community comes together,” said a spokesperson for the Limestone City Car Classic team. “Thanks to everyone involved, we’ve made a tangible difference in the fight against melanoma and supported vital health services for our region.”
The event highlighted both community spirit and charitable generosity, reinforcing the Car Classic’s role as a cornerstone fundraiser for local health initiatives.
