Residents are encouraged to check their voter registration before voting begins in October.
Kingston residents are being encouraged to check their voter registration now, ahead of the 2026 municipal election.
The City of Kingston says confirming or updating information on the Voters’ List takes only a few minutes and can help make voting quicker and easier.
Residents can use the City’s online voter service tool to check their registration, update personal information or add their name to the list.
Those on the Voters’ List will receive a Voter Information Letter by mail with details about where and when to vote, along with a registration number for online voting.
Voting Day is Monday, Oct. 26, with advance voting scheduled for Oct. 16 and 17. Online voting will be available from Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Oct. 26.
Eligible voters must be Canadian citizens, at least 18 years old and live in Kingston, or own or rent property in the city.
