The City of Kingston is calling on residents to share their voices and experiences by applying to join committees, boards and commissions.
City of Kingston is inviting residents to help shape local decisions by applying to serve on municipal committees, boards and commissions.
“Your ideas and experiences can directly influence City priorities,” said Deputy City Clerk Derek Ochej.
“They help ensure the City’s work reflects the needs of the people who live here.”
Applications are open from Oct. 17 to Nov. 7 for positions on several committees, including the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee, Housing and Homelessness Advisory Committee, Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee, Rural Economic & Community Development Working Group, and others.
Most applicants must be 18 or older and residents or business owners in Kingston. Youth representatives must be aged 15 to 24.
Applications can be submitted online, by phone, or in person at City Hall. More details are available at CityofKingston.ca/Committees.
The deadline is 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
