A message posted online on Wednesday threatened violence.
A Kingston resident is facing charges after an investigation over the promotion of online hate.
Kingston Police were notified about a post on a social media platform last Wednesday. Investigators say there was a message sent anonymously that directly targeted a number of religious groups threatening violence.
Investigators were able to trace the message to a Kingston residence and made an arrest. A 37-year-old is being held for a bail hearing.
They say there is no further information being released at this time as the matter is before the courts.
