Gananoque Police have charged a 28-year-old Kingston resident following an incident at a local residence on September 21st.
Officers were called after receiving a report that an individual who was prohibited from attending the residence was refusing to leave.
Police say the individual resisted attempts to remove them from the home and began kicking at the door after getting outside.
Officers located the person and, after reviewing additional evidence, placed them under arrest.
The individual was charged with two counts of assault, mischief for destroying or damaging property, and unlawfully being in a dwelling house.
The accused was transported to the Gananoque Police station and held in custody for a show-cause bail hearing.
