Five-year deal keeps MNP name at INVISTA Centre rink while supporting local recreation.
The City of Kingston has renewed its naming rights partnership with MNP LLP for the MNP Rink at the INVISTA Centre.
City officials say the new five-year agreement will continue supporting community recreation, youth sports and active lifestyles.
The rink is one of several ice pads at the facility, which welcomes more than half a million residents and visitors each year for public skating, minor hockey, figure skating and recreational programs.
MNP Regional Managing Partner Jeff Hanley says the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the community.
Amy Elgersma, director of recreation and leisure services for the city, says the agreement will help maintain a welcoming space for people of all ages.
The city says the renewed partnership will also support facility improvements and program enhancements while promoting accessible and affordable recreation opportunities for the community.
