One person died after two SUVs collided on Battersea Rd Thursday morning.
One person is dead, another is in life-threatening condition after a multi-vehicle crash near Glenburnie.
Emergency crews were called to an area of Battersea Rd around 8:30 am Thursday. They arrived to find two SUVs that crashed, one of them rolled on to its side, just north of Aragon Rd.
Investigators with Kingston Police say a white SUV was going north on Battersea when it collided with a southbound black SUV.
They say the 37-year-old driver of the white SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in that vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 40-year-old driver of the black SUV was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Police closed Battersea Rd between Downsview Dr and Aragon Rd for several hours for the investigation. It reopened to traffic around 5:30 pm.
