 
                            The theft occurred in the Kingston Centre around 6:30 pm on July 23rd.
Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of stealing a cell phone from a grocery store in the Kingston Centre.
Investigators say the theft happened around 6:30 p.m. on July 23, 2025, when a customer briefly left their phone unattended. The suspect allegedly took the phone and left the store before staff could intervene.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged woman with brown hair, wearing a brown dress, black sandals, and a straw hat with a black band. She was also carrying a black purse.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the theft to contact Const. Andrew Sullivan at asullivan@kingstonpolice.ca.
Kingston Police remind the public to keep valuables within sight while shopping and to report any suspicious activity immediately to help prevent similar thefts.
