The new hub at 661 Montreal Street will connect people with addiction treatment, mental-health care, housing and other supports.
Kingston’s new Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment Hub is now open, replacing the city’s provincially funded Consumption and Treatment Service.
The Kingston HART Hub, located at 661 Montreal St. on an interim basis, is the 29th HART Hub to open across Ontario. Addiction and Mental Health Services - Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington is the lead agency.
The hub connects people with addiction treatment and recovery services, mental-health care, primary care, housing supports and basic-needs services. It will also offer peer support, care coordination, showers, beds and rest spaces.
More than 50 transitional and supportive housing units will support the Kingston hub.
The province says HART Hubs have served more than 46,000 clients since launching in April 2025, with more than 530 people accessing supportive housing.
The hubs do not provide safer supply, supervised drug consumption or needle distribution services. Needle return and collection services are eligible.
Ontario says it has invested more than $560 million to establish the 29 hubs across the province.
