The award was handed out during the BIA's annual general meeting on Wednesday.
In a news release, it says Wright has touched countless lives and helped elevate the city's charm and appeal, making it a preferred destination when travelling in Ontario.
His dedication, energy and unwavering passion have fostered a collaborative spirit among local businesses, bolstering our downtown core and solidifying Kingston as a premier destination for visitors near and far.
The Downtown Kingston BIA say this award is meant to acknowledge truly extraordinary individuals that stand out and will not be given out annually.
