Inverary resident finishes second at CNE Ambassador of the Fairs contest

Jared Hunter was one of four men competing for the title.

An Iverary resident was vying to become CNE Ambassador of the Fairs.

Jared Hunter from the Kingston Agricultural Society was in the running for the 2026 title that took place over the weekend in Toronto.

Unfortunately for Hunter, he finished first runner-up to Olivia Avery from Lindsay.

Hunter was one of four male contestants in this year's competition.

He also received the Congeniality Award as voted by other contestants.
