Jared Hunter from the Kingston Agricultural Society was in the running for the 2026 title that took place over the weekend in Toronto.
Unfortunately for Hunter, he finished first runner-up to Olivia Avery from Lindsay.
Hunter was one of four male contestants in this year's competition.
He also received the Congeniality Award as voted by other contestants.
