Kingston's University District Safety Initiative is in effect
It is homecoming weekend for Queen's as they host alumni and current students ahead of tomorrow's football game between the Gaels and Waterloo tomorrow at 1.
The University District Safety Initiative as a result. When it is in effect hosting illegal parties or violating other bylaws can result in action being taken by Queen’s under their student code of conduct and can result in steep fines.
Kingston Police Chief Scott Fraser says his officers are stepping up patrols in the district, but the relationship with the school has continued to improve over the years.
That said, the Chief does have a straight-forward message for students who may get carried away.
The University District Safety Initiative is in effect until November 3rd at midnight.
