The truck allows the ReStore to deliver goods and pick up donations.
The Habitat ReStore on Gardiners Rd. has a new shiny set of wheels.
They officially christened a new truck on Friday.
Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region CEO Gary Lees says they were able to obtain the truck with an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant.
Kingston and the Island MPP Ted Hsu joined members of the board of directors for the grant presentation and to debut the new truck.
Lees says with the truck at their disposal, the ReStore will be able to do more.
There was also a barbecue and sale happening at the ReStore.
The revenue generated from the business goes back to their builds
Lee says the truck and the store as well as their quest to build affordable homes is all done to support better communities.
