The 48-year-old was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
Officers with the Gananoque Police Service were called to a residence on March 26th while assisting another service.
Occupants reported a recent incident involving threats, prompting a further investigation.
As a result, a 48-year-old Kingston resident was arrested and charged with uttering threats causing death or bodily harm, failing to comply with probation orders on three occasions, and possession of Schedule I substances including cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
The individual was held in custody pending a show cause bail hearing.
Gananoque Police continue to remind the public to report incidents promptly, ensuring the safety of the community while supporting investigations into threats and illegal substances. Authorities stressed that community cooperation remains vital in addressing criminal activity.
