Offense generated 772 total yards while defense recorded four sacks.
It is three straight wins for the Queen's Gaels football team, and their first at home this season.
Slotback Nathan Falconi had 258 yards receiving and three touchdowns in helping lead the Gaels (4-2) past the York Lions 57-5 on Saturday (27th). One of his catches went for 83 yards for the touchdown.
Assistant Head Coach Ryan Bechmanis says they had a strong game plan and it was executed perfectly.
Another receiver who had a big game was Russell Weir who did one yard better than Falconi and scored on an 84-yard catch and run.
Weir credits the offensive line for opening lanes and protecting the quarterback.
Weir had 105 yards on three catches. Bechmanis says he has been stepping up in the slot receiver position for the Gaels.
Jared Chisari ran for 139 yards on 9 carries with a pair of TDs while Alex Vreeken completed 17 of 27 pass attempts for 394 yards. The offense generated 722 total yards.
On the other side of the ball, the Gaels defense was led by Oliver Jackson who had four sacks on the day. Bechmanis, who is also the team's defensive coordinator, says Jackson and the rest of the defense all did their job in stopping York's (2-3) offence.
The Gaels were missing their star linebacker Justin Pace who was serving a suspension.
With the win, Queen's sit in third in the OUA football standings behind unbeaten Western and Laurier.
Weir believes his team is starting to get in a groove.
The next game for the Gaels is next Saturday (Oct. 4) when they travel to Guelph to play the Gryphons.
