The Queen's Gaels football team are at the halfway point of the OUA season.
They are now at the part of the schedule where they will be facing teams with winning records. The first will be the Ottawa Gee-Gees (3-1) who are coming off their first loss of the season last Saturday against Guelph.
The Gaels (3-0) are one of three teams currenly undefeated but head coach Steve Snyder says that won't matter come this Saturday.
Quarterback Alex Vreeken threw for 336 yards and four touchdown passes in last week's 55-17 win over Carleton.
He says facing the Gee-Gees defense means he will be relying on his receivers and back to make the big plays.
The Gaels record is a bit surprising given the majority of the team is made up of players with two years experience or less.
Snyder has taken notice of the youth movement and says as the season goes on it will only make the team better.
Game time at Richardson Stadium is 3 pm.
