Queen's takes one of the better offences in OUA in U of T on Saturday.

The Queen's Gaels football team are back on the road this weekend to face one of the best offences in Ontario University Athletics (OUA).

The Gaels (1-2) are in Toronto on Saturday to take on the Varsity Blues at Varsity Stadium.

The Blues' Scott Barnett leads all quarterbacks with nine touchdown passes. He is also leading in completions (94), pass attempts (131), completion percentage (71.8), total yards (1,258), and yards per game (419.3).

Receivers Chris Joseph (190.7) and Jake Oseen (154.7) sit first and second in yards per game, both are tied along with Western's Seth Robinson in touchdown receptions (14).

Gaels head coach Steve Snyder says U of T is a better team than their 1-2 record shows.

Snyder adds the Gaels will also need to get better as they approach the halfway point of the regular season.

But he is confident that his players will get the message.

The weather forecast is calling for a chance of showers and windy conditions for Saturday, much like it was last Friday night in the Gaels' loss to Laurier at Richardson Stadium.

Winds tends to swirl around in downtown Toronto where the game will be played and Snyder says his team will be prepared for it.

Game time between the Gaels and the Varsity Blues on Saturday is 4 p.m.
