The special shuttle will run every Sunday through August 31.
A free trolley service connecting Kingston’s East End to the downtown core launched this past weekend, offering locals and visitors an easy way to get around during scheduled LaSalle Causeway closures.
The special shuttle will run every Sunday through August 31.
Departing Fort Henry, the trolley will stop at the Pittsburgh Branch Library, cross the Waaban Crossing, then make stops at Montreal and Princess streets before arriving at Crawford Wharf.
The trolley will depart every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free parking is available at Fort Henry and downtown on Sundays.
The service is a joint effort by Kingston Destination Group, Kingston Trolley Tours, Tourism Kingston, the Downtown Kingston BIA, St. Lawrence Parks Commission and the Kingston Frontenac Public Library.
The trolley aims to boost access to events and local businesses during Kingston’s busy summer season.
