Says Paterson is best choice for Kingston and the Islands
Pierre Poilievre was greeted with cheers from supporters at a campaign rally in Kingston.
More than 4,000 were in attendance at a facility off Centennial Drive on Wednesday night to hear from the leader of the federal Conservative party.
Poilievre gave a ringing endorsement for the Kingston and the Islands Conservative candidate Bryan Paterson who says he is the right man to represent the city.
Poilievre also delivered his campaign message of eliminating the carbon tax, growing the economy, and making cities safe to live.
He then told the crowd that his Liberal opponent, Mark Carney, would put Canada on the wrong path.
Poilievre finished off by saying the Liberals do not deserve a 4th consecutive term and it is time for a change.
There was a small group of counter protesters outside the rally exchanging words with Conservative supporters but the event was mostly peaceful.
Canadians head to the polls on April 28th.
