Community Futures Week goes until Sunday.
Community Futures organizations across Ontario are coming together from September 21st to 27th to celebrate Community Futures Week 2026 and recognize the people, businesses, partnerships and communities helping rural Ontario thrive.
Community Futures is built around the belief that local communities understand their own needs, challenges and opportunities best. Through locally delivered business financing, advisory services and community economic development programs, Community Futures organizations provide support to entrepreneurs and businesses looking to start, expand or strengthen their operations.
That local support also helps create jobs, encourage investment and build stronger, more resilient communities across rural Ontario.
As part of Community Futures Week, residents and businesses can take part in a series of webinars highlighting the work being done throughout the province.
