Police say a group of youths were attacked at the Cataraqui Centre last Saturday.
A youth will be undergo a diversion program after an incident at the Cataraqui Centre involving the use of bear spray.
Kingston Police were called to the mall last Saturday around 4 pm.
Investigators say a group of youths were attacked inside the mall with the noxious subsstance. All were checked by paramedics and later released.
They located the suspect but no charges will be laid due to the person's age. Investigators say the youth will instead take a youth diversion program.
