Today: Residents are invited to take a break and reconnect with nature at the Midday Sit Spot Club today from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. at Lake Ontario Park. This guided outdoor mindfulness session encourages participants to slow down, reduce stress and enjoy a relaxing midday reset in a welcoming setting.
Tomorrow: Bellevue House National Historic Site is launching its Sharing Knowledge Series, running Thursdays from July 9 to Sept. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. Visitors can enjoy hands-on activities led by guest experts, exploring history, culture, heritage practices and storytelling while discovering new skills and perspectives in an engaging setting.
Tomorrow: The Great Lakes Museum is inviting visitors to dive into Aquaculture: Farming the Waters, a new exhibit running tomorrow all day. Through hands-on activities and multimedia displays, guests of all ages can discover how Canadians farm aquatic environments. The bilingual exhibit is included with museum admission.
Local Sports:
Adults of all skill levels are invited to enjoy recreational badminton in a relaxed and welcoming setting at Kingston East Community Centre today with a few timeslots available. Equipment is available, and participants can connect with others while enjoying friendly games and active fun.
Timeslots: 9:30am - 11:30am, 5pm - 7pm & 7:15pm - 8:45pm
