STUFF TO DO
Today: A Bat Chat: Earth Day Edition takes place tonight from 6 to 6:45 p.m. at the Kingston Frontenac Public Library’s Calvin Park Branch. Kids ages 9 to 12 can learn about bats through facts, sounds and photos.
Tomorrow: A volunteer fair takes place tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at Providence Village. Hosted by the Kingston & Area Association of Administrators of Volunteers, the drop-in event connects residents with local organizations and opportunities to give back, with refreshments provided.
Tomorrow: Cantabile Choirs of Kingston presents The Hobbit tomorrow until the 26th at The Spire, with performances at 6 p.m. Featuring more than 140 young voices, the family-friendly children’s opera brings J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic adventure to life on stage.
Tomorrow: A free Physical Activity and Exercise Showcase takes place tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. at Providence Care Hospital. The community event features demos, local resources and healthy snacks, supporting people at all stages of their fitness or cardiac rehab journey.
Local Sports:
Limestone Race Weekend returns April 25–26 at Kingston Penitentiary, featuring a 5K, Waterfront 10K, half marathon and 2K kids run. The volunteer-run event welcomes runners of all levels.
Season tickets are now available for the Kingston Sentinels’ inaugural 2026 season. The semi-pro teams kick off April 25 at INVISTA Centre, with 14 home games and added fan perks.
The Kingston Racquet Centre will host an International Tennis Federation World Tennis Juniors event April 18–25, featuring more than 60 athletes competing for international rankings. Matches take place daily at the Kingston Racquet Centre.
