STUFF TO DO

Today: SOCKS Kingston is collecting new, warm socks year-round at its Guest Service Centre drop-off location. The local initiative supports individuals in need across the community, offering a simple way for residents to give back and help others stay warm.

Tomorrow: Kingston City Council will meet tomorrow from 7 to 11 p.m. Residents can attend to hear updates, decisions and discussions on local issues shaping the community, with public proceedings offering insight into municipal priorities and governance. 

Tomorrow: The Kingston Frontenac Public Library hosts a Crochet and Knit Circle for ages 10 and up tomorrow from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Central Branch. The drop-in program offers a relaxed space to create, learn and connect.

Local Sports: 

Limestone Race Weekend returns April 25–26 at Kingston Penitentiary, featuring a 5K, Waterfront 10K, half marathon and 2K kids run. The volunteer-run event welcomes runners of all levels.

Season tickets are now available for the Kingston Sentinels’ inaugural 2026 season. The semi-pro teams kick off April 25 at INVISTA Centre, with 14 home games and added fan perks.

The Kingston Racquet Centre will host an International Tennis Federation World Tennis Juniors event April 18–25, featuring more than 60 athletes competing for international rankings. Matches take place daily at the Kingston Racquet Centre.
