Today: WFCU Credit Union hosts “Financial Confidence is a Conversation Away” today from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Kingston Frontenac Public Library’s Central Branch. Attendees can learn practical tips to safeguard finances and build long-term money confidence.

TodayKingston’s Arts, Recreation and Community Policies Committee meets tonight at 6 p.m. in council chamber to review a draft 2026-2030 Child Care and Early Years Service System Plan, plus updates on community gardens and neighbourhood grants. Watch live via the City of Kingston website.

Tomorrow: The Kingston Canadian Film Festival continues its celebration of homegrown storytelling with screenings, filmmaker talks and special events spotlighting Canadian features and shorts. The festival fosters dialogue between creators and audiences while supporting emerging artists and showcasing locally produced films.

In the PJHL, the Amherstview Jets took on the Picton Pirates yesterday on home ice and now tonight they will visit Picton for another match.
