Today: The Great Lakes Museum hosts The Story of the Coteaudoc: From the Great Lakes to D-Day tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. Presenter Ron Beaupre shares the steamer’s remarkable history. Tickets are $15
Today: Buddhist Meditation: A Path to Positive Change tonight from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at The Spire. Led by Buddhist nun Gen Chöyang, the drop-in classes explore meditation to reduce stress and build lasting happiness. Admission is $14, $10 for students.
Tomorrow: Karaoke returns to Daft Brewing tomorrow from 9 p.m. to midnight. The weekly 19-plus event features free cover and a chance to sing favourite hits in a lively late-night atmosphere.
Tomorrow: Comfortably Numb — Canada’s Pink Floyd Show takes the stage at the Kingston Grand Theatre tomorrow night, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The tribute band performs Pink Floyd’s 1977 album Animals in full, plus hits from Wish You Were Here, The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall.
