STUFF TO DO

Today: The Great Lakes Museum presents Last Boat on the Lake tonight at 7 p.m. The documentary, produced by Dalhousie filmmaker Hannah Harrison, explores the lives of commercial fishers on Lakes Ontario, Erie, and Huron. A post-screening Q&A with the filmmakers and featured families follows. Tickets are $20.

Today: The Fresh Food Market pop-up runs today from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kingston YMCA on Wright Crescent. The market offers affordable, locally purchased produce and chef-prepared healthy options.

Today: Karaoke returns to Daft Brewing in Kingston on Friday, Jan. 16, from 9 p.m. to midnight. The 19-plus event runs weekly, offers free cover, and invites locals to sing their favourites at 768 Princess St. during the popular late-night series.

Tomorrow: Domino Theatre presents Pulitzer Prize–winning drama W;t by Margaret Edson, running Jan. 15 to 31. Directed by Martha Bailey, performances run Thursdays to Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

Tomorrow: The Kingston Public Market is open tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Market Square behind City Hall. Ontario’s oldest market has served Kingston since 1801, offering local food, vendors, and a strong sense of community.

Local Sports: 

Tonight, the Frontenacs step onto home ice against the Brampton Steelheads at 7pm.

In PJHL action, the Napanee Raiders host Frankford tonight at 7:30pm.

The Amherstview jets visit Trent Hills today as well.

The Kingston Frontenacs visit Brantford tomorrow at 4pm to take on the Bulldogs.
