Windsor gets the 25-21 win
The Queen’s Gaels started the Ontario University Athletics football season with a narrow 25-21 loss to the Windsor Lancers.
Despite trailing throughout the game, Queen’s cut Windsor’s lead with a late touchdown but couldn’t complete the comeback.
Queen’s will look to bounce back when they host the McMaster Marauders at Richardson Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m.
The Gaels will aim to secure their first win of the season in front of their home crowd.
