What's Good with the Kingston Sentinels: Women's team off to hot start

The team is unbeaten in League 2 action this season.

We are introducing a new weekly segment on KingstonDaily.ca.

What's Good with the Kingston Sentinels shines the spotlight on the men's and women's team playing in the Ontario Premier League.

We will alternate between the two teams each week.

For our inaugural segment, we are taking a look at the women's squad who are off to a great start in their first season in League 2.

They enter Friday's match against Masters FA in Oshawa with a 4-0-0 record.

Midfielder Mallory McQueen says things have been going great both on and off the field.

McQueen is just one of many talented players on the Sentinels and says one in particular is coming up with big goals.

McQueen credits the coaching staff for the team's early success.

Meanwhile, the men are 6-0-0 to start their inaugural season and will be at home this Saturday night against Whitby FC at CaraCo Field at 7:30 pm.
