What's Good with the Kingston Sentinels: Having a Ball

The men are on a roll after tasting defeat for the first time this season.

The Kingston Sentinels Men's team didn't exactly feel the sting after suffering their first loss of the season.

They faced a determined Borough FC squad at CaraCo Field on June 10 and went down to defeat 4-2.

Goal keeper Nolan Barry says that was a learning experience for the team.

Five days later, the Sentinels rebounded by crushing International FC by a 7-0 score. In that match, Jacob Ball scored five goals for Kingston.

That is something Barry says is a rare feat and credits the work of his teammates in helping him accomplish that.

They followed that up with a 4-0 victory over Unionville Milliken SC this past Saturday to improve their record to 9-1-0, one point up on second place Borough FC.

Barry says despite their league-best record, they don't get too emotional as they head towards the final stretch of the regular season.

The men will host Pickering FC this Saturday night at CaraCo Field.

The women are off until July 3 when they take on Unionville Milliken SC in Markham.
