The team hopes to tighten playoff grip as they host Owen Sound and Brantford this weekend.

The Kingston Frontenacs are gaining momentum as the Ontario Hockey League playoff race heats up.

Director of Ticketing and Marketing Strategies Colton Robb says a recent win over the Sudbury Wolves has created valuable separation in the standings.

Robb says Friday night also marks Women in Sports Night, an evening to celebrate and honour the extraordinary achievements of local female athletes.

Robb says the Frontenacs host the Owen Sound Attack Friday, then welcome the Brantford Bulldogs on Sunday.

Fans can listen to games live on New Country 98.9 with Jim Gilchrist calling the action.
