Kingston Frontenacs are rounding into form at just the right time as the OHL playoff picture begins to solidify.

Speaking on What’s Good with the Kingston Frontenacs, Colton Robb said this is when the intensity ramps up.

Kingston earned valuable points last weekend, opening with a 5-1 win over North Bay, followed by a 4-3 overtime loss to Niagara, and a dominant 7-2 victory over Oshawa — their seventh straight win against the Generals this season.

Goaltender Gavin Betts continues to lead the way. He was named OHL Goalie of the Week.

In the standings, Kingston sits 18 points clear of ninth-place Brampton and nine ahead of Sudbury, while chasing Niagara and North Bay for better seeding.

The Frontenacs visit North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie and the aforemention Sudbury Wolves this weekend before returning home March 6.

Fans can listen to every game, home and away on New Country 98.9 with Jim Gilchrist calling the action.
