The young core will be back and are expected to lead the way next season.
The Kingston Frontenacs are wasting little time looking ahead after a first-round playoff exit to the Ottawa 67’s, with a focus on growth and a stronger return next season.
Director of Ticket Sales and Marketing Strategies Colton Robb says the experience gained in the playoffs will be important for the team’s young core.
The Frontenacs are also saying goodbye to graduating overagers Maleek McGowan, Will Bishop and Jack Dever. The team says each player had an outstanding Ontario Hockey League career and will be missed by both teammates and fans.
Robb says their departure creates space for their young core.
Several returning players, including Kulemin, Snyder, Henderson, Kuzma and McLean, are expected to lead the next phase.
General Manager Kory Cooper will now turn his attention to key roster decisions, including overagers and imports.
Off the ice, Robb say the team is hard at work for their fans.
