What's Good with the Kingston Frontenacs: Playoff spot on the horizon

Frontenacs fans get big weekend with team signing, playoff push and family deals.

The Kingston Frontenacs are heading into an important stretch of the Ontario Hockey League season with a busy weekend of games and fan events in Kingston.

Despite a mixed road trip, the team remains in a strong playoff position. Kingston currently sits nine points ahead of the Sudbury Wolves and 20 points ahead of the ninth-place Mississauga Steelheads with eight games remaining.

Frontenacs director of ticketing and marketing strategies Colton Robb says the standings show the club is still in a solid spot heading into the final stretch.

Fans will have a chance to meet the entire team Saturday at a full roster signing at the Cataraqui Centre.

The Frontenacs host the Steelheads Friday and the Oshawa Generals Sunday at Slush Puppie Place.

Robb says families can also take advantage of a new ticket promotion.

Kingston is also four points back of the Niagara IceDogs as the playoff race tightens.
