Count Frontenac made a winning return as Kingston split a pair of home games before another demanding road weekend.
The Frontenacs beat Peterborough 5-3 Friday at Slush Puppie Place, with Matthew Henderson, Andre Mondoux and Adam Kelly scoring their first goals of the season.
Nolan Buttar also continued his strong start.
Sunday was much wilder, with Erie leaving Kingston with an 8-6 victory. Landon Wright, Robin Kuzma and Nolan Snyder helped keep the offence rolling, but the Frontenacs know they need to tighten things defensively.
Kingston now heads out for another three-games-in-three-days stretch, beginning Thursday.
The trip concludes Saturday in Brantford, where Kingston will have a chance to answer an earlier 10-4 loss.
Country Night is also coming Oct. 16.
