Kingston looks to flip the script as series shifts to Slush Puppie Place for Games 3 and 4 vs. the 67's.
The Kingston Frontenacs are looking to reset their playoff series as it returns home, after dropping the first two games on the road against the Ottawa 67’s.
Kingston fell 7-4 in Game 1 after battling back to tie things, and dropped a tighter 4-3 decision in Game 2 despite a stronger third-period push.
Director of Ticketing and Marketing Strategies Colton Robb says there were positives to build on despite the 0-2 start.
Now, the focus shifts to Game 3 tonight in Kingston, where the Frontenacs hope home ice can make the difference.
Robb points to the team’s strong play at home during the regular season and last year’s playoff success as key factors.
Games 3 and 4 will be played in Kingston, giving the Frontenacs a chance to even the series in front of their fans.
Robb says the atmosphere inside the arena can be a major advantage, especially in playoff hockey.
With a physical, emotional series already taking shape, Kingston will look to feed off that energy and turn momentum in their favour starting tonight.
Tickets are available at KingstonFrontenacs.com.
Fans can listen to every game, home and away on New Country 98.9 with Jim Gilchrist calling the action.
