Enjoy an evening of food, music and dancing, all in support of their centennial project.
The Rotary Club of Napanee is inviting the community to step back in time as it celebrates its 100th anniversary with a gala on May 1.
Club president Cynthia Surette shared with myFM the event, themed around the Great Gatsby and the Roaring Twenties, will feature a full evening of food, music and dancing, along with a live auction.
The evening will include a catered meal and a live band. Guests will also be able to view historical displays highlighting Rotary’s long-standing presence in the community.
Funds raised from the gala will support the club’s Centennial Project, which aims to install a roof over Market Square in downtown Napanee.
Tickets are $150 per person, with seating arranged in tables of eight. About 200 tickets are available, leaving room for a dance floor!
Organizers say the gala is just one part of a busy centennial year.
Stay tuned for more on that announcement and their golf tournament.
