The Museum of Lennox & Addington is hosting two free Halloween programs for children and families later this month.
The first event, Spooky Spider Decorations, takes place Monday, Oct. 26, during a P.A. Day. Children can create their own spider decorations while learning fun facts about arachnids.
Alannah MacGregor, the museum’s programs and exhibitions co-ordinator, let us know there will be two session running.
The museum will host its Little Discoveries: Halloween Adventure on Thursday, Oct. 29, starting at 10 a.m. The preschool-focused program includes a Halloween story about being brave in the dark, and a few fun activities.
Costumes are welcome but not required for the preschool program.
Both Halloween activities are free, and registration is not required.
The Museum of Lennox & Addington is located at 97 Thomas St. E. in Napanee.
More information about upcoming programs is available at countymuseum.ca.
