Many in the Kingston community are starting to take note of the monthly 50/50 draw being hosted by the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation in Napanee.
In the month of May, their monthly 50/50 raffle saw their second highest jackpot ever at $9,000. Half of which went to one lucky, local winner!
We spoke with the Hospital Foundation’s Amanda Chalk for her reaction to the total,
The other 50% of the $9,000 is going to support the Emergency Department at the hospital, which supports local patients from Kingston to Belleville. Sophie Airhart told us more about their goal,
They’re just over a week into their June draw and it too is breaking records! In the first week alone, the total jackpot is sitting at over $2,400!
