Pawsitive Impact and Wendel’s Warm Paws inviting residents to shop, donate and connect at Harrowsmith event
Residents in South Frontenac are being invited to take part in a community yard sale in support of local outreach initiatives helping vulnerable people and animals in the Kingston area.
Pawsitive Impact and Wendel’s Warm Paws are hosting the event on Saturday, May 30, at Centennial Park in Harrowsmith from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Organizers say the yard sale is intended to bring the community together while raising awareness for local initiatives that support unhoused individuals, pets and others facing difficult circumstances.
Wendel's Warm Paws organizer, Tanya Heasman explains what Pawsitive Impact is.
Community members are encouraged to attend the event to shop, browse and connect with local organizers. Those interested in participating as vendors can also reserve a spot by contacting organizers directly through Pawsitive Impact.
Wendel’s Warm Paws, helps provide food, blankets, coats and other supplies for pets belonging to members of the unhoused community.
More information about the event can be found through the Pawsitive Impact website.
