On Saturday September 13th, the Bereaved Families of Ontario Kingston Region will once again host a Walk to Remember. Ric Saaltink of BFO explains what it's all about
Rather than being a solemn march, the Walk is a great way to remember and honour lives lost as Ric notes
The Walk starts with registration at 10:30 am and steps off at 11 at Lake Ontario Park at 920 King St. W. Ric tells us the act of joining together with those experiencing their own loss is very beneficial to the healing process.
Participants can choose to fundraise for BFO Kingston through the Walk to help them carry on the great work they do, but it's not mandatory. For more details go to their website.
