Over 175 local and regional artists will have their creations on display.
The ultimate in local arts, Artfest Kingston is returning to City Park on Barrie Street from June 26th to the 28th. Over 175 local and regional artists will have their creations on display in a celebration of almost every art media in existence.
One of the organizers, Vanessa Martin, tells us what visitors can expect.
In addition to a selection of free kids activities, there will be an Indigenous pavilion and live music. And of course, so you can plan to take your time at the festival, there will be food trucks serving the best in local street cuisine to keep your energy up.
Martin says one of the best things about buying local art directly from the maker, is the sense of connection that can't be duplicated in a traditional retail facility.
Artfest Kingston runs from 10 am to 8 pm on Friday and from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
