Al Simmons performs alongside the Kingston Symphony Orchestra to the Grand Theatre.
Something's Fishy with the Kingston Symphony Orchestra and it's not the string section.
Kingston and area residents will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for some great entertainment on Sunday November the 9th, when the Kingston Symphony Orchestra will be joined by legendary entertainer Al Simmons.
Al explains what's happening at the Grand Theatre.
Back by popular demand, musician, eccentric inventor, and all-around nutty guy, Al is bringing a big dose of daffy to the Kingston Symphony stage in a concert where slapstick comedy and general mayhem will reign supreme. Unlike any symphony orchestra concert you've ever attended, the audience is definitely not expected to be quiet.
Al's career as a multi-media Juno-award winning entertainer spans six decades and he draws on those years of experience to deliver, not only to children, but to older members of the audience as he notes.
The show starts at 2:30 pm in the Regina Rosen Auditorium of Kingston's Grand Theatre on Princess Street. Tickets are available online. It's $20 for adults, $15 for students, and $10 for children 12 and under. Check out kingstonsymphony.ca and alsimmons.com for more details.
