The Great Lakes Museum is offering a 45-minute escape room-style experience, with Thursday spots still available and Saturday sold out.

A Halloween mystery is taking over Kingston’s historic SS Keewatin, challenging visitors to solve puzzles and escape a mysterious curse.

Lock & Kee: A Halloween Event invites participants aboard the ship for an escape room-style experience filled with hidden clues and secrets.

Visitor Experience Manager, Claire Notman explains more.

The event runs Thursday, October 22, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, October 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday is sold out, but a waiting list is available. Thursday still has spots open.

Tickets cost $32 per person, and each 45-minute experience accommodates groups of up to six people.

Notman says that this years event is a little different.

The event is open to people aged 13 and older. Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Costumes are encouraged, but organizers note the experience is not accessible.

More information and booking details are available on the Great Lakes Museum website.
