What's Good in Kingston: Santa Slices are back!

The program sees pizza slices given away to shelters and organizations in Kingston.

A popular food donation program is back and it is growing.

Santa slices was created in 2020 by the owner of the Pizza Pizza store at 277 Bath Rd James Hassan as a way to help feed homeless people during the pandemic.

Each year, Hassan's store donates 1,111 slices to a number of organizations in the Kingston area.

He says they cook and deliver the slices three days a week throughout the month of December.

Hassan says Santa Slices has become so popular that they often run out before the end of the month.

He has now introduced a way for customers to donate to the program.

Hassan says the slices from the money collected will be in addition to the 1,111 slices his store is donating.
