Community members can choose from three routes while raising money for hospice care in Kingston.
The Providence Care Hike for Hospice is returning to Kingston on Sunday, Sept. 20, with community members invited to support compassionate end-of-life care.
The event will raise funds for Providence Care Hospice, including AB Smith Homestead House. Organizers say government funding covers only part of hospice operating costs, making community donations essential to keeping care available for patients and their families.

Participants can choose between one-, two- and five-kilometre routes during the event at Lake Ontario Park, located at 920 King St. W. in Kingston.
Registration and gathering will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the park pavilion, with the hike starting at 2 p.m.
Registration costs $20, and participants are encouraged to create fundraising pages and collect pledges from friends, family and colleagues.
Organizers have set a fundraising goal of $20,000 for this year's event. Every donation will help support high-quality hospice care in the Kingston community.
